I've been thinking about acronyms lately. As I reflect on my completion of the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential, I realized that I learned quite a few new ones. Most of these acronyms will not positively impact my teaching or learning. And, I have a lot of questions about this situation...far more questions than I should. Am I overthinking this?
And, while I understand the importance of familiarizing myself with these acronyms, I still tend to see it as text speak. It's like a code—a code that only serves the players in the game. And, what about the other stakeholders?
